[intro]
[verse]
God prepare me for the call
Make me ready stand up tall
Guide my heart and guide my hand
Let me follow Your command
I’m the watchman through the night
Eyes that pierce the dark and light
See the pain the world denies
Hear the helpless silent cries
[pre-chorus]
I see the weak the lost the torn
Left to face the storm alone
They need grace to light their way
Not the judgment night and day
[chorus]
Press on press forward now
Truth will lift us up somehow
Press for God press for grace
Let mercy lead the race
[verse]
Victims crushed by unjust hands
Pushed aside by harsh demands
But I wear the badge You gave
One word strong and brave
Press the fight press the stand
Voice for those who have no hand
Stories carried in my soul
Speaking truth to make them whole
[chorus]
Press on press forward now
Truth will lift us up somehow
Press for God press for grace
Let mercy lead the race
[verse]
Scars are written in their eyes
Tales of pain they can’t disguise
Broken roads and choices lost
But You sent me through the cost
I’m not passing I belong
Lifting weak and making strong
Let my words be light and true
Till they turn their hearts to You
[prayer]
Keep me humble keep me bold
Let Your love my life uphold
Truth my mission grace my way
Light my path through every day
[chorus]
Press on press forward now
Truth will lift us up somehow
Press for God press for grace
Let mercy lead the race
Closing Prayer
Amen.
Father, thank You for hearing me when others looked away.
Thank You for truth, for mercy, and for strength to stand.
Thank You for every door You opened, every step You ordered, and every word You placed in my hand.
Thank You for keeping me through the hard places, for covering me with Your promises, and for reminding me that I do not walk alone.
Lord, bless the work, bless the witness, and bless the road ahead.
Let Your justice rise, let Your peace remain, and let Your will be done.
And thank You, God, for the one word that still leads me: Press.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
